Affordability of Cyber-resilience

Image
"Affordability is a critical determinant of cyber-resilience success. We should therefore design risk-appropriate, affordable and fit-for-use cyber-resilience architectures for large multinationals and SMEs alike." World Economic Forum. As the gap in cyber inequity between organizations that are cyber resilient and those that do not keep increasing, emphasizing that affordability is key to bridging this gap is key. The report points out that while large organizations have made remarkable gains in cyber resilience, SMEs have shown a significant decline. This disparity is because more than twice as many SMEs as the largest organizations say they lack the cyber resilience to meet their critical operational requirements.  Therefore, designing risk-appropriate, affordable, and fit-for-use cyber-resilience architectures is essential for both large multinationals and SMEs. Such designs would allow organizations to maintain ...

Usefulness of Culture & Tradition

C ulture and T radition   are the threads that weave the fabric of human existence. They are the stories passed down through generations,    the rituals that connect us to our roots, and the shared values that shape our identities. In the ever-evolving landscape of organizations, these cultural elements play a crucial role in defining who we are and how we operate. AGRICULTURAL TRANSFORMATION OF AFRICA.

Africa’s exportation of raw crops will limit her income in the world market where other big players eat from the golden bowl. The leadership in Africa seems to believe so much in the local farming which has to do with cutlass and hole, the world had gone far beyond that point of stagnancy in food and agriculture organization. The road to feeding ourselves starts from understanding that the use of technology is the next line of action. There are tons of graduates with Bsc agriculture, yet no meaningful purpose is served.   Chief Obafemi Awolowo, the former premier of the western region of Nigeria brought to fore the gains that comes with the love for agriculture, if he was to be alive, I believe he won’t want our agricultural system to still remain in the dark when top countries in the world already move into automated faming which is sustainable agriculture. Cocoa House, was completed in July 1964 and commissioned in July 1965. At a height of 105 metres, it was the first skyscraper...

METAVERSE IN THE MASS PRODUCTION INDUSTRY

An advanced manufacturing vendor 3D prints spacecraft parts on-demand for international  space tourism maintenance clients: A maintenance engineer from a client in South America needs to refurbish a recently returned  spacecraft before its next launch. They use AR that is interoperable with an interactive  maintenance checklist to inspect the spacecraft and identify parts that need to be replaced. Logging into a virtual storefront, the engineer and sales manager use a digital twin of the clients ’ spacecraft that is interoperable with a back-end parts catalogue to identify the parts that need  to be replaced. The vendor is enabled to cross-reference the part via an application programming interface  (API) with the International Standards Organization (ISO) database to confirm specifications  and manufacturing schematics. The ISO specification allows the engineer to be confident that the 3D-printed parts will be compatible with their  spac...
